*SUPER SENIORS: Our Super Senior Class focuses on two important aspects of physical fitness:
*Strength Training - Constructing and keeping muscle will assist you to keep the functional abilities you appreciate, while decreasing aches and pains.
*Balance - Balance is vital as we age. By engaging and building your stabilizer muscles, your body will grow stronger and decrease the likelihood of injury.
*ZUMBA GOLD: Zumba Gold is designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, people who are not used to exercising or people who may be limited physically. Zumba Gold is done at a much lower intensity than Zumba but with the same great Latin styles of music and dance. Zumba Gold classes strive to improve our balance, strength, flexibility and most importantly, the heart.
ALL IN ONE: A cardio workout that integrates the sculpting of major muscles all while allowing each individual to push to their own intensity. All exercise levels in one class, all together as one group, encouraging and supporting as we are “one for all and all for one!”
BARRE INTENSITY ®(currently only for Saturday Surprise): will transform your body, developing into one with core strength, flexibility and overall balance. The technique infuses a warm-up, weight use and exercises at the ballet Barre that targets your seat, thighs and abdominals.
PILATES: Pilates provides improved posture, increased lung capacity, and strong, defined muscles. Its emphasis on all around, complete fitness supports a variety of goals, from building strength to increasing flexibility.
STEP MOTIVATION: An intense fat-burning cardio workout using advanced step choreography. (Step experience is recommended.)
TRIM & TONE: This class is a variety of cardio and toning in combination with cardio bounce, weighted aerobics, interval training and hi-lo.
This class combines strength building poses, flexibility and breathing to develop lean muscle and work on relaxation
ZUMBA: A fusion of hypnotic Latin and international music – dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
