Guest Speaker - Robert Amaya

Robert is most recently known for his role as Javier in the new Sherwood Film, Courageous. He felt humbled and honored playing this character because it reminded him of his own father's struggle to survive in a new country with a family.

Robers is married to his high school sweetheart, Colleen, also an actress and vocalist; and is the father of a young daugter, Sophia. He is the son of immigrant parents Roberto and Maria Amaya. He has one sister, Arlene, who is an educator at a Christian elementary school.

Between projects, Robert travels across the nation singing and speaking in both English and Spanish churches, schools and organizations about a variety of topics including How Honor Begins at Home, the Biblical Calling of Fatherhood, Courageous Leadership and The Proverbed Life.
